Fortius has a 25 year track record in managing real estate investments. We have a highly experienced team with collective experience of over 175 years working within financial institutions of which 165 is within the property sector. 

Over this time we have managed  funds for wholesale and private investors that have ranged in investment vehicle size from $40m to $750m. 

A number of these funds have been managed on behalf of some of Australia largest institutional investors, whilst at the same time we have also managed single asset Investment vehicles that have ranged in value from $2m to $750m. 

Fortius believes that:

  • the value of Real Estate investment (as a specific class of investment) is affected by a combination of overall market forces and asset specific factors at any point in time.  
  • the timing of impact of these external market forces and asset specific risk factors will mean that every asset's risk profile will vary over time. 
  • the management of these risks will impact the income generation and capital value of real estate assets. 

Since 1991 Fortius Funds Management has refined its investment process to identify, price and manage these risk factors in order to outperform the market in pursuit of maximising investment returns.
